Frustrated. Same old story. We don’t do well with Hispanics, we the blacks aren’t in our pocket. We need to grow the tent and then shrink it. Focus, don’t focus. What about the huge block of non voters? Who’s going there? Party insiders nothing’s urgent let’s wait for the next election. No wonder AOC and Bernie are drawing crowds. The rest of the Dems are downplaying their success and are back to boring and excuses. Either take advantage of the momentum or step aside. Need new ideas.
I don’t know what was decided in Hillary’s campaign, but I recall reading that both Obama and her husband tried to convince her to go to the states that Trump won handily and talk to the working people rather than her talks to Wall Street. As Dems are the party for working people, why wasn’t this obvious to HC and Harris? Also, if Michigan (or any state with a Democrat governor) has such swing counties, do the governors inform the Dem candidate of their issues and tell them to come to hold town halls? Seems there should be more intra-party communication. Obama ran on “ change”. Seems that, along with a superbly coordinated campaign worked.
